In comparison to traditional plywood, PVC cabinet board is better for wardrobe design. Several years ago, I got a PVC corner wardrobe from a Dublin-based manufacturer called Skon Design, and it still works pretty good.

Pros

They are light in weight and can be easily loaded and transported, and therefore, the transportation and handling costs are less.
They do not need regular maintenance like wood and steel doors, but only require dusting or wiping down with soft cloth and cleaning agents.
They are low priced and provide great value considering their superior durability.
They can be recycled and do not bring any kind of burden.
They have a smooth finished surface.

Cons

Prone to scratches which cannot be covered up
Hardware and hinges might cause damages to the PVC board, but if you choose sliding door wardrobe, there is no need to worry about this.
